Displax Touchscreen Film
Submitted by Priscilla Machils on Thu, 04/02/2010 - 16:49

The portuguese company displax has developed a new type of film which can transform any surface into a fully functioning touchscreen display. This new flexible film can be place on top of solid surfaces like wood or plastic, or placed behind transparent materials like glass. The film is clear and can respond to both touch and airflow. Because it is flexible, the film can even be placed on uneven and curved surfaces. The screen uses tiny wires embedded inside to capture input. The screen captures this information and using its software transmits the data to your computer.
